"A chance for all children" is the name of the campaign developed by Milupa in partnership with the Innocenti Foundation, meant to offer Milupa products for children over 1 year of 250 mothers in Romania with a difficult economic situation, for 6 months.
A healthy diet from the earliest years of life can lead to minimizing and even avoiding health problems such as iron or calcium deficiency in children. Therefore, it is essential for every mother to be aware of the importance of balanced baby nutrition when diversification begins.
As part of the campaign "A chance for all children", part of all Milupa products sold between October 10 and December 15, 2009 will be donated, with the support of the Innocent Foundation, to the 250 mothers and their children, who will benefit from this program. The donation will consist of Milupa products suitable for each child (depending on their age and nutritional needs), which will help ensure a balanced nutrition for each of them for a period of 6 months.
"In the Milupa we believe that every child has the right to the best start in life. At the same time, we cannot ignore the nutritional data and facts regarding children in Romania. We cannot deny the fact that we live in a difficult economic time and environment. Therefore, we have decided to offer our support to mothers in difficulty, with the support of the Innocent Foundation. This year we aim to help 250 mothers and their children, but for us this is just the beginning. We will continue this program and we are dedicated to supporting as many mothers as possible so that they can provide balanced nutrition to their children, "he said.
Eric van der Hoeven, Managing Director Milupa Romania.
Innocenti Foundation will identify those cases that can become beneficiaries of the campaign, determine what products each child needs individually and provide families with the necessary products for the 6-month period.
"Throughout our activity, we have seen many cases of mothers and children in difficulty and we know that the supply of baby food products for a period of 6 months will positively influence the development of the little ones. We are very happy that we are involved in this campaign", said Valentina Maghirescu - Development Director of the Innocent Foundation.
The Milupa campaign "A chance for all the children" is also supported by Liana Stanciu, mother and well-known radio and TV presenter, who has embraced the cause.
"As a mother, I know how important the first years of a child's life are and the fact that everything you want, as a parent, are the best things for your child. I support this initiative and I am happy to be a promoter of a program that will help 250 mothers in Romania to ensure a balanced nutrition for children, "said Liana Stanciu.
The campaign "A chance for all children" is developed on the international platform "Milupa Supporting Life" through which Milupa has supported communities around the world to ensure balanced nutrition and a better start in the lives of their children.
